Park #4 and honestly my favorite from this trip! Before I started planning this trip I don’t think I realized just how busy this park gets in the summer! Silly me, I thought I could find a campsite in the park looking just a few months ahead of time! Little did I know.
I did try and get a site at Camp 4 too, but those people get there at like 4 am! I settled for an RV park just outside the park and it was perfect! Had a little restaurant and showers – and it had been a few days for me so I was excited. But enough about my campsite! Here are some pictures from Day 1 on the valley floor

El Capitan and then All of Yosemite Valley!

I decided to hike up to the view of Upper Yosemite Falls. It was about 1000 ft of elevation gain and I worked up a good sweat! But the pictures were worth it! Also got my first view of the dome!

I also walked to the bottom of the lower falls as well just to see how the views were from there. Helps give perspective to the top part!!

Next stop was Glacier Point. I drove up to capture some of the images I had seen from all the other travel blogs and I was not disappointed.

Everything in the valley looks so small from up here!! Loved seeing the same set of falls from three different angles. I also drove out to the end of the hike and walked out to Mirror Lake. I have this next picture hanging in my cube and people always try to flip it over!

After day 1, it was hard to see how day 2 could compare but it most certainly did! I didn’t have as many iconic pictures but the drive on Tioga Pass into Toulumne Meadows was breathtaking! The colors were bright and the air was refreshing! Loved it. I could spend a week up here just exploring all of these trails

I liked this little baby tree 🙂

I am sure I will be coming back to Yosemite many times in the future! Can’t wait to see what else is in store!
