New River Gorge National Park

Second trip to this amazing river, but the first after it became the 63rd National Park! Got a chance to go white water rafting with some family, then spend the weekend at a resort doing as many activities as we could possibly fit into 24 hours! Here are some pictures of the iconic bridge 🙂 Unfortunately I forgot my Go Pro, and wasn’t confident enough in my rafting skills to bring my phone – so all my pictures are from the sides of the gorge! Our guide did snap one of the group at the end included below!

I made two slide shows of the rapids the photographer captured. I love looking at everyone’s faces. Some of us have done this before – and remembered how ridiculous we looked last time. Made more of an effort to not look scared out of my mind 🙂

I just want to take a minute to appreciate all of the facial expressions in this one. Particularly Abby’s! LOVE 🙂

This park was so much fun! Only a 6 hour drive, so I will definitely be back again to raft and hike!
