This is the third of three parks I visited while in Florida! Trip date was February 2017.
I decided to take a day sailing trip out to Bocha Chita Key. I highly recommend it! It was so beautiful! Here are a few pictures of my first glimpse of the park. It is mostly water! The day started cloudy but the sun came out quickly to warm it up!

The sailing trip was about a good time – I can’t quite remember but I THINK it was about 2 hours each way. Motoring is a good bit faster.
Here is the view you get coming up on the first sighting of the key we landed on. (This picture was taken on the way back since it was sunnier :))

As you get closer you can see some of the board that people have taken to try and get to America. It was very eye opening to see the structures these people will put their trust in on the open ocean. Our captain docked in the marina and this girl I met on the boat went kayaking with me around a few other keys. It was a lot of fun!
Our captain actually recommended a sunken barge that had some good snorkeling. He proceeded to give us very detailed instructions on how to find this 50 ft sunken barge. I just laughed at him – I was thinking it couldn’t possibly be that hard to find such a massive ship! Little did I know….hahaha it took me like 20 minutes even with the directions! I’ll blame the strong currents, made the water blurry…Haha
Here are some other cool pictures from the island. I dont have as many since it was mostly just relaxing on the boat and kayaking around the islands. All my underwater pictures were a bit too blurry.

I will most likely find myself back in this park again! I would like to check out some of the other keys, and perhaps camp overnight! Let me know if you’ve been and tried it I would be interested to hear more about it!
Amazing. Love your adventurous personality. Love you too!
